The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) collected Rs 453.7 billion tax from July to November, 2009. According to data available to Business Recorder, this tax has been collected under heads of direct taxes, sales tax, federal excise and customs duty. The FBR collected Rs 152.9 billion direct taxes, Rs 198.2 sales tax; Rs 45.9 FED and Rs 56.7 customs duty during this period.

The FBR also collected Rs 148.9 billion income tax and sales tax since 1st October to 31st December, 2009. According to data, the FBR collected Rs 123.2 billion income tax and Rs 125.7 billion sales tax during this period.
